今回は島根県出雲市にあります出雲大社神楽殿と都稲荷神社の紹介です。

神楽殿は本来、千家國造家（出雲大社宮司家）の大広間として使用されており、「風調館（ふうちょうかん）」と呼ばれていました。
明治に入り、出雲大社教が設立されてからは出雲大社教の神殿としても使用され、御祈祷や結婚式をはじめ様々な祭事行事が執り行われています。
The Kagura Hall was originally used as the main hall of the Senge Kuni no Miyatsuko family (the family of the chief priest of Izumo Taisha Shrine) and was called “Fuchokan.”
After the establishment of Izumo Taishakyo in the Meiji era, it also came into use as the temple of Izumo Taishakyo, where prayers, weddings, and various other ceremonies are held.
昭和５６年に出雲大社教が特立１００年を迎えた折、現在の神楽殿として規模を拡張して建て替えられました。
その大広間は２７０畳の広さを誇り、神社建築にはめずらしく正面破風の装飾にステンドグラスが使われています。
In 1981, when Izumo Taisha Church celebrated its 100th anniversary of establishment, the building was expanded and rebuilt into the current Kagura Hall.
Its large hall boasts an area of 270 tatami mats, and stained glass is used to decorate the front gable, which is rare for shrine architecture.
正面の大注連縄は長さ約１３メートル、重さ５．２トンに及びます。この大注連縄は数年に一度、新しい注連縄へと懸け替えられます。
そして、神楽殿前庭には高さ４７メートルの国旗掲揚塔が聳え立ち、揚げられる国旗は７５畳（タテ８．７メートル・ヨコ１３．６メートル）の大きさです。
また、神楽殿後方には出雲大社宮司家の祖先神や天満宮などをお祀りした鎮守社が並び、国旗掲揚塔の南には祓社、金刀比羅宮が並んでお鎮まりです。
The large shimenawa rope at the front is approximately 13 meters long and weighs 5.2 tons. This rope is replaced with a new one every few years.
In the front garden of the Kagura Hall, a 47-meter-tall flagpole stands, and the flag that is hoisted there is the size of 75 tatami mats (8.7 meters high and 13.6 meters wide).
Furthermore, behind the Kagura Hall, there are a row of local shrines dedicated to the ancestral deities of the chief priest of Izumo Taisha Shrine and Tenmangu Shrines, and to the south of the flagpole are Harae Shrine and Kotohira Shrine.
