【完歩】雨なのに、自己最短記録 第11回東京エクストリームウォーク100 #東京エクストリームウォーク100

I took part in the rain at the Tokyo Extreme Walk, which was held on October 25th and 26th, 2025. It was raining again, but I had prepared some improvements, so what was the outcome? I hope you enjoy the main video As a solution, I was using anti-blister sheets to protect the soles of my feet , but I ran out of stock, so I switched to anti-blister tape instead . To protect against the rain, my shoes got soaked last time, so I prepared shoe covers and put them over my shoes and decided to walk around. As for power, I had a number of small capacity batteries , so I switched to larger capacity ones to make them lighter this time. Finally, to improve the angle of view, I decided that it would be boring to just shoot the same angle over and over, so I prepared with two cameras . With everything ready, we boarded the first Keiyo Line train and set off. It’s gotten really cold this morning, so we can’t set off in short sleeves anymore, so we put on our jackets and get ready. The windows of the Shinkansen were wet, so I was a little worried that it might rain in Odawara. But by the time we arrived in Odawara, the sky was cloudy. I hoped that it wouldn’t rain forever, and so I arrived at Odawara Station . I think it was the shopping district in front of Odawara Station. It wasn’t raining when I was walking there. This is promising, but as I was waiting at the traffic light, it started to lightly rain. First, to prepare for the rain, I decided to wear an outer layer that is waterproof and breathable. Raincoats make you sweat, and raincoats are a bit bit block out the hot air that builds up inside, so I think waterproof and breathable is a very key. Next, to prepare for the rain, I prepared rain shoe covers. You’ll understand later why there are fewer stars I came to the reception to drop off my luggage. There were no raindrops in the puddles, so I thought there was hope, and there it was. I’m a little disappointed I left my change of clothes and set off. The rain has started to lighten again. I put on some tattoos and I’m getting ready with all my might. I’m writing a message to myself when I reach the finish line It’s raining today, but I’m praying that it won’t be a heavy downpour like the last spring tournament I’m checking to see if I made it to the finish line Finally it’s Group C’s turn, so we lined up and now we’re at the starting point , Odawara Castle Ruins Park Let’s get started, everyone Let’s get started, everyone and we set off right away. 100km left Let’s keep walking hard thinking this as I walked, keeping an eye on the rain. Somehow, in the rain, we arrived at the first checkpoint, Shonan Beach Park, at the 21km point . Here, the charging didn’t work properly and the battery ran out so I couldn’t take pictures with my main camera . So these images were taken with the 360-degree camera and my smartphone camera. I’m eating a curry bun while sitting on a bench in the rain . Eating while standing was really hard, so I instinctively sat down on the bench. After that, I started getting ready while standing in the rain. It just so happened that a photo could be taken, so I asked someone to take one. This time, a passerby helped me take photos at Chigasaki C. Enoshima Tower is visible through the clouds . Amazing It’s raining. As I walked in the rain, I approached the second checkpoint and arrived at the second checkpoint at the 33km point, Shonan Coast Park Water Plaza . Wow, this is raining really hard. This time there wasn’t a 36km course so I arrived at the quiet second checkpoint. I was just about to take a break so someone took a photo of me. We’re finally past the halfway point and arrived at the third checkpoint at the 54km point, Yokohama City Children’s Playground . I feel like I’ve arrived a little earlier than usual, but I won’t know until I see the results. After 54km, the next place I passed was the Minato Mirai 21 district of Yokohama, where I was able to see a fantastic rainy landscape. Next is Portside Park, the fourth checkpoint at the 67km point. I usually arrive here after 10pm , so it feels like I’ve arrived about an hour early . I took some photos here and enjoyed them too. I had some Cup Noodles here too . There’s an illustration on display that expresses my current feelings . I arrived at Suzugamori Road Children’s Park, the 5th checkpoint at the 86km point. This is the final checkpoint. Even though it’s raining. Water droplets have formed on my lens. My camera isn’t charged here either, so I ‘m barely making progress. Finally, I’ve reached the 100km point, the livedoor Urban Sports Park Running Stadium. Thank you. My camera lens was covered in water, so I was very grateful that you took a beautiful photo of me at the finish line . Despite the rain, I finished in 21 hours and 29 minutes, my fastest time yet . Finally, someone took a photo of me reaching 100km. The answer to whether I could walk in the rain is that I could walk . Now let’s look at the results of the improvements we made this time . The measures for the soles of my feet were a failure as I ended up with some rather large blisters. I’ll try to improve it again. The shoe covers for rain protection were completely useless Even my shoes got submerged in water and became soggy and the soles of my feet were completely sore. As for the power supply measures, they malfunctioned mid-way and I was no longer able to charge them. After all, it would be better to split up the batteries Because we had limited ourselves to one battery we had no alternative and found ourselves in a situation where we couldn’t charge it The solution to the angle of view was a great success I think it was useful that the replacement camera, which still had a charge after the battery ran out , was useful. This time, we once again ended up walking in the rain at the spring tournament again . Even though it rained during the spring tournament, it was actually a downpour at first, then it gradually cleared up and was sunny halfway through , so it was much easier towards the end, but this time it was just a light rain, then a moderate rain, then a light rain, and it just kept raining non-stop. That was really tough, and unlike before summer, we’re heading towards winter, so the sweat never dries, and it got cold at night, so walking there must have been quite tough. However, I would like to walk on a sunny day again, so I really hope that it will be sunny this time . I think I’ll have a good grasp of how to walk and the key points, so I ‘m hoping to walk that way for the entire section and hopefully it will go well . I look forward to seeing you again . Thank you.
