Walking in Wakayama at Night: Quiet Streets on Halloween Day
I’m on a journey heading toward Osaka, passing through various towns before eventually returning to Tokyo.
From Osaka, I traveled to Wakayama. In front of the station, I saw students dressed in costumes and realized it was Halloween. It made me wonder where people in this area go to celebrate.
The nightlife district was quiet, possibly because it had been raining earlier. The long, covered shopping arcade also had few people walking around. As I strolled through, a few bar staff called out to me, adding a touch of local color to the calm evening atmosphere of Wakayama.
