【東京 グルメ】人生に一度は訪れたい築地の名店5選!!おすすめの築地場外市場の食べ歩きから不動の人気を誇る老舗の名店まで盛り沢山!

Hi, I’m KT. KT EATS, where we eat everything from established restaurants to B-grade gourmet, introduces five famous Tsukiji restaurants that attract tourists from around the world. Tsukiji is synonymous with seafood, right? While many people enjoy sushi, Tsukiji is much more than just sushi. This time, we’ll be introducing some incredible restaurants, so please take your time to read until the end. In 2018, the Tokyo Central Wholesale Market moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu, eliminating the Tsukiji market . However, the specialty shops and long-established restaurants outside the market remain thriving . This restaurant, founded in 1935, is a representative Tsukiji restaurant. While there is a menu, the menu is also lined up on the wall. While the prices aren’t listed on the wall, it can be a little intimidating at first, but don’t worry. Rare fish and seasonal ingredients are available at very reasonable prices. The staff will happily explain the prices. First, the pickled vegetables that came with the set meal arrived. This is lightly pickled cabbage, carrots, and cucumbers, tossed in sesame oil. It has a lovely crispy texture. The miso soup that comes with the set meal is clam soup. It’s chock-full of clams, and it’s irresistible. This is the rice that comes with the set meal. It’s served in a bowl, and it’s also quite filling. This is a regular portion. When it comes to boiled fish in Tsukiji, Takeno is the first name that comes to mind. Enjoying the rare, high-quality fish, blackthroat seaperch, for lunch is truly luxurious. Blackthroat seaperch, also known as the fatty tuna of white fish, is a truly luxurious experience. Some people worry, “I didn’t order such a luxurious dish,” but for an additional 350 yen, you can add this to your set meal . The meat is so filling that you’ll be full just from this. Tsukiji is truly a grand place. Takeno’s sauce, which has been passed down through generations and added to over and over, is exquisite. This is also not homemade. It’s tuna chunks. I was surprised at how delicious the tuna was. This can also be added to a set meal for an additional 350 yen. The chef said it was a complimentary item, but perhaps it’s a bit too generous. This is the popular homemade potato salad. It’s also hearty. It’s easily enough for two or three people. The fried oysters are also very popular. These fried oysters are made by frying three or four oysters together. This means that each bite is packed with rich flavor. They’re juicy and satisfying. The next restaurant was founded in 1947. Since shortly after the war, the same flavor has been passed down through repeated additions and additions. This is a renowned restaurant for stewed offal, carefully prepared in a large cauldron, perfect for lovers of stews. The menu includes stewed offal, beef bowls, and meat tofu. Alcohol options include sake and beer. Order and pay at the counter. There are also tables along the street where you can eat. The brown color of the Hatcho miso is beautiful. It’s surprisingly deep and mild. The offal is incredibly fresh and tender, with a concentrated beef flavor. This is irresistible. This is old pickled beef. It only uses salt, but the umami and acidity of fermentation are wonderful. It’s generously topped with tenderly cooked beef. Here, I added a soft-boiled egg to my beef bowl. They offered both soft-boiled and raw eggs. The sweet and spicy flavor of the high-quality meat made the rice irresistible. The next restaurant is a long-established fish roe specialty shop next door, established over 50 years ago. Their fish roe dishes are incredibly popular. First, you order and pay, receive your ticket, and then take your seat when your number is called. There ‘s seating at the counter and these tables, both stand-up style. The menu features dishes unique to a fish roe specialty shop, such as mentaiko, cod roe, and salmon roe. Drinks include coffee and this limited-edition soda, which changes with the season. This time, it was yuzu. If you sit at the counter, the staff will prepare your pasta right in front of you, and it’s ready in no time. The pasta is topped with sliced mentaiko and green onions. The pasta is sprinkled with chili pepper, which is also used to make mentaiko, but it’s not too spicy. The pasta is extra thick (2.2mm) and has an irresistible chewy texture. The generous amount of mentaiko is mixed in with the chili pepper, making it addictively delicious. The pasta comes with soup, a Japanese-style soup made with flying fish stock. It pairs perfectly with the pasta. This is cod roe pasta. It’s topped with shredded seaweed and garnished with lemon. The cod roe is generously mixed in, but it’s definitely not your average cod roe. The grains are firm, and the rich flavor is amazing. To add a touch of flavor, they recommended the yuzu pepper on the table. The spiciness of the pepper and the aroma of yuzu are also excellent. Our next stop is a long-established local Chinese restaurant. Established in 1950. Extremely popular with market workers, this restaurant is quite hard to find. It’s located in the aisle next to the tea shop Koshuen. It’s between a green and blue awning. I enter this narrow gap. Here’s the menu. It’s very simple: ramen, fried rice, shumai, and curry. This is Tsukiji’s famous shumai. The huge shumai is impressive. Everything in Tsukiji is big and bold. It seems to be the size of three or four average shumai. The translucent skin seals in the umami of the meat. In Tsukiji, shumai has long been served with sauce. The sweetness of the meat and onion. The densely packed umami of the meat is irresistible. The ramen has arrived. The video makes it look like there isn’t much ramen, but the bowl is actually quite large. The char siu is also large. It ‘s also topped with green onions, bamboo shoots, and snow peas. The soup is a beautiful amber color. The meat-based flavor is punchy and rich. The aroma of soy sauce and a nostalgic feel are irresistible. The traditional flavor is irresistible. The chewy, firm noodles are also delicious. And best of all, this ramen comes with two large slices of pork slices , which are excellent, filling, and the delicious flavor and sweetness of the fat are superb. We also have fried rice. The fried rice comes with lightly pickled Chinese cabbage and Chinese soup. The fried rice is also quite filling. There is no such thing as half a serving of fried rice. Everyone is full when they come here. There is no such thing as “eight-parts of fullness” at Koken. The fried rice is moist, fluffy, and delicious. Why is it so delicious? The pork slices are delicious, right? It’s delicious. Why is it so delicious? Because it’s made with love. It must be the landlady’s love. Yes. That’s right. The landlady is in charge of making the fried rice. That’s right. I do almost everything. Everything. From preparation! Incidentally, there is also a Koken shop across from where Koken is located. This is a takeout specialty shop, and you can buy those huge shumai here. This is recommended for when you want to take a short break. On the third floor of the Tsukiji Odawarabashi Building along Namiyoke Street is a food court called Uogashi Shokudo. It’s easy to find by taking the elevator on Namiyoke Street. Here, you’ll find the Tsukiji branch of Senriken, which we also featured in our list of top five long-established coffee shops. This venerable establishment opened as a milk hall in 1914, when Tsukiji was still Nihonbashi’s fish market. While the menu is slightly different, it still offers Senriken’s signature stews and egg sandwiches. Senriken’s coffee is delicious. And here’s Senriken’s new specialty: refreshing and slightly bitter. The nostalgic flavor is truly exceptional. Our next stop is a renowned tempura restaurant, tucked away in a back alley just off the busy tourist street. Enjoy the expertly prepared tempura prepared by a tempura chef formerly employed at the Zennichin Hotel. It’s a wonderful restaurant that everyone who visits will want to share. While sushi is great when you visit Tsukiji, the Edomae tempura is also highly recommended. The lunch menu includes six types of tendon bowls, as well as a set menu that includes tendon bowls and tempura. In the evening, reservations are required and you can enjoy a course meal. There is a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer, sake, and wine. There are also customers from overseas, but the impression is that the majority of customers are regulars. Sharing tables is not permitted during lunch. If you don’t like sharing tables, we recommend sitting at the counter. All lunches come with pickles and clam soup. The pickles are pickled radish, nozawana, and daikon radish. The special tempura bowl arrived. Since it’s Tsukiji, not only are the ingredients top-quality, but Kurokawa’s batter is also delicious. It’s light and not at all heavy with oil. The sauce is also delicious. It’s a very dark sauce that’s been added to over and over again. This sauce is exquisite, and once you try it, you’ll be hooked. Next, I had the conger eel. It was cut into two pieces for easy eating. The flesh was firm and incredibly delicious. This was the kakiage tempura bowl. It was also generously drizzled with black sauce. This was the only difference between the special and regular bowls. In addition to the kakiage, there was also green pepper tempura. The kakiage consisted of scallops and shrimp. The freshly fried tempura was dipped in the sauce. The smooth sauce dribbled off the kakiage. It’s filled with so many magnificent scallops. Kakiage tempura bowls are really addictive. Before you know it, you’ll be gobbling down the rice soaked in shrimp, scallops, and sauce, engrossed in your mouth.
