【仙台・松島旅行】海と温泉と街歩き、宮城をまるごと楽しむ2泊3日|鎌先温泉

The pine trees look great around the station Well, it is Matsushima(Pine island) after all We made it to one of Japan’s Three Great Views After Amanohashidate… This is the second one! What was the last one again? Matsushima, Amanohashidate, and… Miyajima! Finally checked off the second one… 😅 The autumn leaves are beautiful Autumn colors really are the best Mid-November Entsuin Temple — a famous fall foliage spot — was at peak color So beautiful They’re really vibrant This year’s autumn leaves are especially beautiful Really? So red! Wow… The leaves here are incredible It’s the best I’ve ever seen Red, yellow, orange, green… Everything blends beautifully into the blue sky My followers might think this— “Did they crank up the saturation?” But this is the real color! That’s how vivid it is And it’s not crowded, which is great Autumn leaves,Oh!autumn leaves, autumn leaves… Faced with overwhelming colors… Expressing your feelings that left you speechless Good… That was amazing. So beautiful We went “autumn-leaf hunting” Here’s a question “Autumn-leaf hunting” Why do we call it “hunting”? Did they, like… hunt enemies? “the enemy was stained red with blood”? It’s actually a pretty scary story No no, that’s not it Hunting used to be an aristocrat’s pastime People who didn’t hunt… Would climb mountains like they were hunting, Enjoying autumn leaves was called “hunting” So it’s like an elegant, aristocratic activity We’re here Zuigan-ji Temple, built by the warlord Date Masamune It feels a bit different from Entsuin-Temple… This one is more imposing Entsuin Temple had a wabi-sabi vibe(solitude) The main hall is a National Treasure ※ No photography allowed Looks like there’s a cave Carved straight out of the rock Cave ruins created as a place for memorial services A path that leads to the sea Matsushima… I thought it was a place with only islands but this area has a really nice atmosphere too Seafood restaurant “YOSHITAKE” Self-service grill All-you-can-eat fresh oysters for 40 min So plump! Just a little ponzu… Delicious! The rich umami flavor of oysters Hot oyster broth spills out Splash! This is crazy good! Honestly better than raw So juicy Kind of like medium-rare This would be perfect with beer🍺 That’s oolong tea… So good Didn’t know grilled oysters were this tasty Wow, it’s Matsushima! The view is amazing Matsushima Bay Cruise Ticket Such a long line A 50-min cruise around the islands of Matsushima Bay Matsushima Bay, where 260 islands float Waves carved the rocks, and the wind shaped them… A garden of the sea, created over time Nio Island — a symbol of Matsushima Bay I made a Haiku Which island is your favorite? Ask the waves Which one did you like? Kane‐Island! I like Nio‐Island Let’s try the famous Castella cake Such a perfect cube!! Wait, the camera’s shaking… (lol) The crunchy sugar on the bottom! Sugar is the jewel of castella💎 Classic-style castella This shop has been here since the Meiji era The view is really great 2F: Café, 1F: Rice cracker shop (recommended) What’s this place? The Skeleton Bridge Oh, I can see under my feet! Wow, you really can see below. Godaido‐Hall, the symbol of Matsushima Built in 1604 by the warlord Date Masamune The carvings are amazing So “Date”-style, right? Do you know the origin of this phrase? “Date” means flashy and showy Date Masamune stood out with his flashy clothes Where does that bridge go if we cross it? I wonder what’s over there Shall we go? Fukuura Bridge Partly damaged in the Great East Japan Earthquake Taiwan helped with the repairs… Sun Moon Lake Sightseeing Boat Donates Relief Funds We rode a tour boat at Sun Moon Lake! How kind of them… Xièxiè, Taiwan! Beautiful The wind is so strong The wabi-sabi was blown away The view is amazing So fluffy! Such a luxurious coat Such a spoiled baby. He is beloved by the local people Beautiful There’s a hotel right where the sun sets Let’s head west Take the shuttle bus from Matsushima-Kaigan Station to the hotel Daikanso‐Hotel overlooking Matsushima Bay The view is incredible! You can see the bridge too Such a nice view They even have karaoke rooms! This is a big hotel There’s so much here Chinese food, Japanese food, a seafood buffet… We’re going for the seafood buffet At the seafood buffet, you can enjoy fresh local seafood All-you-can-eat seafood is the best I want to eat sushi They brought sparkling wine Why? It’s not even our anniversary… I guess it was part of the accommodation plan So good~! Are we going to see the illuminations later? I’m sleepy… I drank wine… But let’s go anyway Matsushima Imperial Villa Autumn Leaves Illumination 1,500 yen (autumn only) So beautiful The reflection is amazing But this is exactly… refHection (?) Selling taro soup When you think of Miyagi, you think of Imoni(taro soup) But the sign said Yamagata They say people in Miyagi eat it too It feels different from daytime In the daytime it has a wabi-sabi mood, but now it feels dreamy It’s totally different from Kyoto’s light-ups. So bold and flashy Very “Date”-style! Day 2 of Miyagi trip Leaving Matsushima and heading to Sendai Matsushima-Kaigan → Sendai (40 min) Tohoku’s No.1 city Sendai really is big Sendai, the largest city in Tohoku A city of forests where urban life and nature blend together I’m shocked by how pretty Sendai is! I’d heard it’s a comfortable city to live in, but I didn’t know it was this beautiful The zunda tastes so fresh super delicious! Three-Color Mochi: Zunda, sesame, walnut Was the sesame good? I’ll have the walnut one Sightseeing bus “Loople Sendai” This bus goes around the main sightseeing spots in the city We’ve arrived Zuihoden Apparently a bear was spotted This way is a dead end A bear here, seriously!? We can go this way So beautiful Zuihoden is the mausoleum of the warlord Date Masamune It’s designated as a National Treasure Doesn’t it look like Nikko Toshogu Shrine? Nikko Toshogu is also Momoyama-style architecture So it’s super ornate Momoyama culture: a rich style that mixes in foreign influences Oh, so that was Momoyama architecture too… So cool! This is the equestrian statue of Date Masamune He’s watching over the city of Sendai Protecting everyone Sendai is such a big city I bet Lord Masamune is smiling 😊 the moon on his helmet is so cool Yeah, that crescent moon There’s a death poem by Date Masamune “With a clear heart as my guiding moon,
I walk through the darkness of this world” The moon lighting up the battlefield… Maybe it was his guardian deity This is the site of Sendai Castle’s main bailey There’s nothing here now I thought it was just a parking lot! Lunch time… Let’s eat delicious beef tongue Let’s order the best one! The top one is… something called “Shinchu‐tongue” “The true tongue” This is Shinchu‐tongue Is it even softer? I’ve never had tongue this tender and bouncy so easy to bite through This meat… I can’t just describe it with the word “tender” “Tender” alone doesn’t show how good it is We ordered regular tongue and Shinchu tongue Shinchu tongue is a bit more… springy and juicy It leaves a strong impression I recommend Shinchu‐tongue Now we’re heading to Shiroishi City… It’s just over 10 minutes by shinkansen Sendai → Shiroishi-Zao Station (13 min) I really like places like this So peaceful Yunushi-Ichijo, a 600-year-old inn The room is huge Warm light filtering through the shoji screen Amazing! I like it It has a Meiji–Taisho era vibe Which one should I eat? Japanese cuisine made with ingredients from Miyagi Grilled pike conger The hot spring was good too This inn has a really long history Hot pot with Zao-wagyu beef At this point, words aren’t needed Don’t think, just feel! Did you like chestnut rice as a child? I loved it! I hardly eat it now that I’m an adult So fluffy and warm Beautiful Shiroishi Castle is located on a hill There’s a sign Haiku poems You can’t lose to them, right? Hey!
Hey! Hey! I haven’t even seen anything yet! This is crazy! Shiroishi Castle A castle with deep ties to the warlord Sanada Yukimura Do you know what Sanada Yukimura’s family crest is? Six coins The fare to cross the River of the Underworld Six coins: The fare to cross the River of the Underworld Proof of resolve to face death Isn’t the view from up here amazing? It feels so open And the breeze is great Nice view Okay, please give us a haiku here Eat umen noodles and say, “This is umen(delicious)” Umen noodles If you come to Shiroishi, you have to eat umen Shiroishi’s specialty, umen noodles Short, thin noodles in hot soup It’s kind of like warm somen noodles, right? The chicken flavor really comes through Try the chicken ball There’s also charcoal-grilled local chicken in here Everything tastes great Tastes better than mine… Autumn trip to Miyagi The castle and the old town… They look perfect with the autumn leaves Into a landscape loved for generations The most “Date-style” trip in Japan

  3. 在松島玩的時候,印象最深的竟然是遊覽車的行李廂門沒關好,沿著海岸疾駛的遊覽車沿路一直掉行李…還好一個很皮的小男孩從車窗看見大家行李掉馬路上!
