京都府警察平安騎馬隊は、1994年(平成6年)に平安建都1200年を記念して創設された京都府警察の騎馬隊。
この騎馬隊は、府民と警察を結ぶ架け橋として活動しており、京都府内各地でパトロールや交通安全活動を行っています。

A procession of about 500 people dressed in Heian-period costumes departs from the Kyoto Imperial Palace, passes through Shimogamo Shrine, and heads to Kamigamo Shrine.
The Kyoto Prefectural Police Heian Mounted Police Unit is a mounted police unit established in 1994 to commemorate the 1200th anniversary of the founding of Kyoto.
The unit serves as a bridge between Kyoto residents and the police, conducting patrols and traffic safety activities throughout Kyoto Prefecture.
The Kyoto Prefectural Police Heian Mounted Police Unit leads the procession during the Aoi Matsuri’s “Roto no Gi.”
