南国の巨大ドライブイン廃墟に、バス団体旅行の天国を見る【志布志パラダイス】
この大型ドライブインは鹿児島県の海沿いにありました。
元々あった小規模がドライブインが、1970年代後半に超大型施設へとリニューアルされたようです。
全体に南国風の建築で、2階建て一部3階建て、2階には壮麗なホールや舞台付き大広間を備え、豪華な作りとなっていました。また向かって左には2階建ての「ロイヤルパラダイス」があり、ディスコやバーなどの行楽施設が入っていたようです。
電話帳の記載は2000年で終わっており、少なくとも2000年代前半には閉業。内装等は撤去され、建物は風化が進んでいます。

Very interesting, Haiken San. There is a small amusement park nearby that I visited in early 2024. While driving along Route 220, I noticed this huge building, already completely trashed. What caught my attention was the broken sign written in English. I stopped because I was trying to make sense of it.
I then entered the large building and briefly explored the first and second floors, but I couldn't understand the connection between the broken sign and the other building. Thanks to your video, I finally understand.
By the way, near the half-broken sign there was a way to go underground, but I chickened out and decided not to do it. You reached that area from the newer building, and suddenly everything made sense.

大好きなアトラクションでしたので 廃墟にたどり着くまで魔法の絨毯に乗っている気分になれるところに一層魅力を感じています😊
それにしてもこのドライブインは広大で迷いそうですね
椰子の木が朽ちゆく南国模様をゆっくりと時代の流れを見つめてきたんですね
