沖縄県本島中部、「伝統エイサーの郷」として全国に名を馳せるうるま市からやってきた本場・伝統エイサーの誇りを胸に抱く実力派青年会！
大太鼓の地響きのような重低音、パーランクー（手持ちの小さめな片面太鼓）が奏でる軽やかで心地よいリズム、そして男踊りの豪快さと女踊りのしなやかで華麗な舞が融合した、ハオリティ（クオリティ）が高すぎる演舞が最大の魅力です。

伝統の気品と情熱あふれる演舞がコマ劇前で繰り広げられると、最初の「宜しくお願いします！」の精神で集まったサポーター（観客）や、綺麗な浴衣姿や夏服で大興奮するたくさんの外国人観光客（インバウンド）のテンションも限界突破！

そして動画のラストは、エイサーの醍醐味である最高潮の「カチャーシー（総踊り）」へ！

We are proud to present—in its full, uncut version—the spectacular performance by the “Asahi-ku Youth Association” from Uruma City, Okinawa. They served as the headline act at the main venue (Godzilla Road in front of the Kabukicho Koma Theater) during the “Shinjuku Eisa Festival 2026,” held today, Saturday, July 25, 2026.

🌺 [Joining us from Okinawa Main Island! Who is the “Uruma City Asahi-ku Youth Association”?]
Hailing from Uruma City—located in the central part of Okinawa’s main island and renowned nationwide as the “Home of Traditional Eisa”—this highly skilled youth association performs with pride in their authentic heritage.
Their performance is a masterpiece of quality, blending the earth-shaking bass of large *odaiko* drums, the light and pleasant rhythms of *paranku* (small handheld single-sided drums), and a fusion of dynamic male dancing with the graceful, elegant movements of female dancers.

As their performance—overflowing with traditional elegance and passion—unfolded in front of the Koma Theater, the energy of the crowd skyrocketed. Supporters who gathered with a spirit of mutual respect, along with throngs of excited international tourists dressed in beautiful *yukata* or summer attire, were absolutely electrified!

The video concludes with the festival’s ultimate highlight: the “Kachashi” (a communal dance where everyone joins in)!
With the sound of finger-whistles filling the air, the entire city erupted in a joyful, festive frenzy. Spectators and international visitors alike raised their hands high and danced with abandon—creating an overwhelming sense of unity that truly embodied the spirit of the Shinjuku Eisa Festival!
