ちょうど今年の4月、桜の時期の雨の日に訪れました。紫陽花の頃も良さそうですね。
建物の保存状態が良いのに驚きました。

So relaxing. I really enjoy ever changing scenery, streets and walkways. The small private beaches are so nice to think about. I would definitely visit this island if I could! Thank you for sharing this lovely walk and the delightful village.

Funny, I just spent a week on Inujima (pretty nearby). Almost all alone, 29 inhabitants, no shops. I brought 2 kilo's of great meat and rice.

The Shiwaku carpenters work is truly stunning. I love everything about this town. Brilliantly layed out. Each house and area have their own charm. I see the little crabs blending in to the cement. They are busy looking for food. I also love the color of the sand and the cat that greeted you!❤ Lots of hidden treasures are found here. Thank you AOI!! This was wonderful!
