本城山は、標高76mの小さな山で、戦国時代には高台という地形を生かした戸倉城が築かれていました。
遊歩道を歩き、山頂に出ると、木の切り株を模した展望台があります。その展望台からは、町全体を一望でき、富士山や狩野川、近隣市町の景色を望むことができます。

Mt.Honjoyama is a small mountain with an elevation of 76 meters. During the Sengoku period, Tokura Castle was built on the site of the mountain, taking advantage of its high ground.
If you walk along the mountain trail and reach the summit, you will find an observation deck modeled after a tree stump. From there, you can get a panoramic view of the whole town, as well as views of Mt.Fuji, the Kano River, and neighboring cities and towns.
