Is this normal that people eat so much fat and not lean meat? People simply would not buy that here in the US without the fat trimmed first. At least some of it.
Don't show Uncle Roger the cook using metal thongs on a non-stick pan (or using a teaspoon to "gingerly" remove ingredients from the blender). But to each his own!
