山犬嶽（やまいぬだけ）は標高997メートルを誇る上勝町の自然豊かな山で「苔の名所」としても知られています。山名は山犬が狼と戦ったという伝説に由来し、まるでジブリの世界のような神秘的な雰囲気を醸し出しています。

Yamainudake is a mountain in Kamikatsu town that boasts an elevation of 997m and is rich in nature. It is also known as a famous moss spot. The mountain’s name comes from the legend of a wolf fighting a wolf, and it exudes a mystical atmosphere reminiscent of the world of Ghibli.
