Hamaotsu, which flourished as a post town on the Tokaido,

Saikyo-ji Temple and the ruins of Sakamoto Castle, associated with Akechi Mitsuhide,
Karasaki Pine, one of Japan’s three famous pines,
and Ukimido, floating on the lake.
