Although you are in Okinawa, many Japanese people visit here for winter months to get away from bitter cold winter.
After US base left, I think some of culture/tradition from US image remains, and that makes Okinawa unique, I reckon.
But remember Okinawa has bitter history through WWI and II.
haha I was scared first…they drive on the left side of the road. haha
