    1. the first time i tried mitarashi dango, I was so pleasantly surprised and immediately got addicted to its simple, salty-sweet glaze and chewy texture haha
definitely want to try an authentic japan version in the future! thank you for sharing as always

    2. I loved this video! The food looks amazing 😍! The dango and udon, and spaghetti made my mouth water! Thank you! 😊

    3. A warm bowl of soba noddles and a bite of pickled vegetables is so satisfying. When it gets hot outside a little bit of pickled vegetables just seems to do the trick don't know why but it cools me down. The only problem with Japanese foods is that there is no heat I would love an episode on Japanese spicy foods they got to exist.

    4. The food looks fabulous as always guys, o would really love to be able to visit there one day with my family and enjoy them 😊

    5. Wow. That video was really jam-packed with wonderful, personal recommendations for delicious Kyoto specialties. What a time saver, and a lovely starting point for one's own food adventure. I love tsukemono, so Kitano would definitely be on my "must visit" list. And as for what my favorite Japanese noodle is, my answer is "all of them!" 😂 Love to you both. 💙💚

    6. If I get yatsuhashi, I always get te nama one. I thinkbthe dry ones are too hard.
I would love to eat at that fu place. And some of the onigiri.and the stukemono buffet! I have always bought some when in Kyoto but didn't know you could try it that way.
But I would skip the nishin soba, as I don't like herring😅

    7. Best meal i ever had was the shojin ryori kaiseki at the ANA hotel near Nijo jo in the early 2000s flavour and interest throughout.

    8. Ooh the inside of Kaneyo looks like the furniture my GreatGrandfather dragged with him across the world😍🥰 I have lost the habit of sitting on my knees though, I must use wheelchair or walker, so maybe they have chairs?

    9. Yes! Futomaki and sabazushi is the taste of home to me, my Obachan served on holidays. The sabazushi takes 2 days and pickles in futomaki plus takana tsukemono side dish take like a week to cure just right, so it's special to me. All that effort makes very special meal😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰

    10. This episode was eye opening. The difference between being there and anywhere else has been described very well. Thanks. 🙂
